Firstly, we are delighted to say that the renovation of our practice is now complete. After many weeks of dust, mud and huge concrete walls, our new car park is finally up and running too! Thank you for your patience throughout the disruption- we look forward to welcoming you and your pets.
While the builders were hard at work, we also realised that we have recently reached five years since Stroud Road Vets opened in 2021. We can’t believe how quickly the time has flown.
We would also like to say a huge congratulations to Nikki, who has officially qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse after four years of hard work and dedication. We are very lucky to have her as a part of our team.
Our busy few weeks have been made busier by 18 dogs needing grass seeds removed from their ears, eyes, noses and paws. At this time of the year, be aware that these seeds are masters of the art at hitching a ride in our pets and embedding themselves in all sorts of places. Avoid long grass and be vigilant when you get home from your walk to check there are no stowaways!
Congratulations to Pippa and Stanley, who have both completed their many weeks of chemotherapy treatment.
Finally, we would like to wish Lauren all the best as she begins her maternity leave. We will miss her terribly. Good luck Lauren!
